Accompanying our two primary schools Caistor Church of England Primary School and Lincolnshire Montessori are a number of small primary schools in neighboring villages.

The secondary school founded as Caistor Yarborough in 1938 and named after John Edward Pelham the 7th Earl of Yarborough, the school occupies a hilltop site above the town.

The Grammar School dates from the reign of Charles I, the dissolution of the monasteries in the reign of Henry VIII destroyed the principal sources of education of the times, Francis Rawlinson, of South Kelsey bequeathed money to endow a school at Caistor.
